Job Overview:

Are you passionate about the restaurant industry and skilled in organization, leadership, and inventory control? We are seeking a highly capable Store In-Charge to manage and oversee our restaurant store operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory management, cost control, and compliance with company standards while contributing to a smooth and profitable operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Manage day-to-day inventory operations efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure proper issuance of goods.
  • Minimize wastage through effective stock control practices.

Stock Control Systems:

  • Maintain and update Bin Cards and Stock Cards accurately.
  • Apply inventory control methods including FIFO (First In, First Out), LIFO (Last In, First Out), and FEFO (First Expired, First Out).
  • Ensure proper tracking of expiry dates and stock rotation.

Budget & Cost Control:

  • Assist in budgeting and financial control of store operations.
  • Focus on cost efficiency and reduction of operational losses.
  • Support profitability through effective stock management.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and generate regular reports.
  • Support audits and stock verification processes.

Data & Systems Management:

  • Maintain inventory records using Microsoft Excel.
  • Analyze stock data and prepare reports using spreadsheets.
  • Ensure data accuracy and timely updates of inventory systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Store In-Charge, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and stock control procedures.
  • Understanding of Bin Cards, Stock Cards, FIFO, LIFO, and FEFO concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory tracking spreadsheets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of customer and operational service.
