Store Keeper

• Assist in Quality & Systems of the assigned project and receive and ascertain the quality and quantity of the incoming materials.
• Ensure material handling is as per the environment, health and safety norms, and carry out the periodical stock verification.
• Ensure the indent is duly filled by the requisite, check and verify the authorized signature before passing on to the store in charge for approval.
• Ensure proper implementation of security measures for store and yard and assist site-in-charge in finishing protection tasks of the site till deep cleaning.
• Ensure adequate levels of stores inventory are maintained at all times to prevent stock-outs and prepare stock statements on a monthly basis.
• Co-ordinate with the purchase and accounts departments for purchasing of material and bill clearance.
• Acknowledge bills received, scan and send the same to MHQ for accounting purpose.
• Follow up vendor in case of non-receipt of bills and close the same.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of papers and documents related to the Store.
• Store materials received in the designated area in an appropriate manner ensuring proper safety of the material and issue materials at the site.
• Ensure all materials in stores/stockyards are stacked, stored and, issued as per the standard storing procedure.
