1. Material Receiving & Inspection
- Receive MEP materials (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire fighting) at site/store
- Verify deliveries against Purchase Orders (POs), Delivery Notes, and Invoices
- Check quantity, specification, brand, and physical condition
- Report shortages, damages, or non-conforming materials
2. Storage & Inventory Management
- Properly store and segregate materials by trade and category
- Maintain safe storage for cables, pipes, valves, panels, fixtures, accessories
- Ensure materials are protected from damage, moisture, theft, and dust
- Follow FIFO / FEFO practices where applicable
3. Material Issue & Control
- Issue materials only against approved Material Requisition Notes (MRN)
- Record all material issues, returns, and transfers
- Track daily inward and outward movement
- Prevent over-issuance and unauthorized use of materials
4. Documentation & Records
- Maintain updated stock registers (manual or system-based)
- Keep records of GRN, MRN, delivery notes, and return slips
- Prepare daily / weekly / monthly inventory reports
- Maintain proper filing for audits and site inspections
5. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, procurement, and planning teams
- Inform procurement about low stock levels and re-order requirements
- Support engineers by ensuring materials availability as per work schedule
