- Manage day‑to‑day store operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain accurate stock levels and oversee stock receiving, issuing, and storage
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records
- Ensure proper handling, stacking, and labeling of building materials
- Supervise storekeepers, foremen, helpers, and loading staff
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, logistics, and accounts departments
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports
- Ensure safe and organized warehouse environment
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders (quality & quantity)
- Manage dispatch, delivery orders, and documentation
- Implement FIFO/FEFO and inventory control procedures
- Support internal and external auditS
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Store Manager or similar role
- Experience in building materials / hardware / construction supply is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations
- Ability to lead and supervise a team
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory software
- Physically fit and able to handle warehouse environment
