Overview Of The Role:

  • The Store Manager is responsible for achieving overall operational and sales performance goals in the store, combining strategic leadership with hands-on management. The role emphasizes driving sales, ensuring compliance with company standards, enhancing customer experience, and leading a cohesive and motivated team. Success is measured by sales outcomes, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team engagement.

What You Will Do:

Sales and Profitability

  • Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and profitability goals.
  • Monitor daily and weekly sales performance and adjust strategies based on market trends.
  • Maximize sales opportunities through effective product placement, promotions, and upselling techniques.
  • Review sales performance and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure efficient inventory management to minimize stock-outs and overstock situations impacting sales.

Team Development

  • Lead, motivate, and coach a high-performing store team.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new team members effectively.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews for team members.
  • Identify and develop high-potential staff for future leadership roles.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Customer Service

  • Set high standards for customer service aligned with the brand's values.
  • Address customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure store environment is welcoming and customer-friendly.
  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve service quality.
  • Maintain high NPS scores and positive customer feedback.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations efficiently.
  • Ensure operational processes are in place, including inventory and safety procedures.
  • Embed trading and safety processes within daily routines.
  • Train the team on operational best practices and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain a green operational scorecard.

Visual Merchandising

  • Ensure the store meets visual merchandising standards.
  • Regularly check visual presentation for customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the VM team on seasonal trends and promotions.
  • Ensure store displays align with brand guidelines.
  • Exceed 80% of store visit checklists scorecard.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Proven experience in leadership and team development within a retail environment.
  • Strong strategic sales and inventory management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective engagement with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education in a relevant field.
  • Experience in implementing successful sales strategies and tactics with proven track record in achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to customer-first service and excellent issue resolution skills.
