Job Summary:
The Store Officer is responsible for managing store inventory, maintaining stock records, ensuring proper storage of materials, and supporting smooth daily store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate stock records, issuance, and receipts.
- Update inventory levels and prepare daily/weekly stock reports.
- Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and safe storage of items.
- Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and operations departments.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and report variances.
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.
- Follow company procedures for material issuance and returns.
Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum Intermediate qualification.
- Prior experience in storekeeping or warehouse operations.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel preferred).
- Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Experience in store operations (inventory handling, stock management)
