Store Supervisor

Job Summary

He/she is responsible for assisting all warehouse and store operations activities, including transporting and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting store transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing storage of all items, inventory, and property for the company.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring they match purchase orders. Report and document any discrepancies or damages
• Receive, store, tag, and track all items. Prepare lists for items to be purchased, discarded, or stored
• Process and distribute documentation along with purchase orders. Prepare supply requisitions, assist in ordering, and deliver orders to departments
• Handle the shipping of canceled or damaged items back to vendors. Coordinate with suppliers for returns
• Make deliveries of requested office furniture and merchandise within the company. Maintain detailed delivery records
• Supervise the maintenance and orderliness of the store to ensure a well-organized environment
• Train and direct the work of store assistants. Provide guidance and supervision to ensure smooth operations
• Act as a lead worker, providing guidance to other classified staff in the area
• Prepare supply requisitions and assist the buyer in ordering adequate merchandise and supplies
• Perform any other duties related to storekeeping as assigned by superiors.
