Storekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage our inventory and ensure efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and have experience in logistics and supply chain management. This role involves overseeing the storage, shipping, and receiving of goods, as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory levels.

Duties

• Manage inventory levels through effective category management and data analysis skills.
• Oversee the shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS) for tracking inventory.
• Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for seamless supply chain operations.
• Handle materials with care, ensuring proper picking and packing procedures are followed.
• Operate forklifts safely for the movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP systems, including AS400, to track inventory movements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and organised warehouse environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or a similar role.
• Familiarity with logistics, supply chain processes, and materials handling.
• Proficient in using data analysis tools to monitor inventory levels and trends.
• Experience with category management and process improvement methodologies is advantageous.
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving protocols is essential.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
