As a Storekeeping Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing all storekeeping activities, including receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling materials. The role ensures accurate inventory records, timely material availability, and compliance with safety and housekeeping standards, while supervising storekeeping staff and maintaining efficient store operations.

REPORTING TO:

Material Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is an advantage.
• Proficient in inventory management and record-keeping using MS Ex

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in material storekeeping with supervisory responsibilities .
• Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and safety regulations.
• Good leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise the receipt of materials and ensure accuracy in quantity and quality.
• Maintain and review inventory records and stock movement documentation.
• Oversee the issuance of materials against approved picking or requisition documents.
• Conduct and supervise regular stock counts and inventory audits.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Ensure the store area is clean, well-organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Lead, train, and monitor storekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to procedures.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, and management teams to ensure smooth material flow.
