About the Role


Check shipments for condition, shortage and discrepancies and prepare reports. Contact other departments for collection of parts that are reserved against work orders and direct materials ordered for other projects. Participate in receiving, stocking and issuing supplies and materials.


Responsibilities


  • Issue tools, parts, materials and supplies; determine equipment parts and supplies to keep in stock.
  • Ensure proper inventory levels.
  • May operate computer terminal and perform data entry; check stock items for reorder; maintain stock records.
  • Conduct scheduled inventory and prepare monthly activity reports; discuss parts needs and supplies with vendors as assigned.
  • May operate a forklift and other storeroom equipment.
  • Supervise the efficient utilization of available storage space.
  • Follow-up on overdue shipments; respond to questions regarding stock items; perform related duties as assigned.


Qualifications


  • Higher Secondary Certificate (12th Standard) from a recognized institute is a must and Bachelor Degree is desirable.
  • Relevant professional certification (Inventory and Material Management) is preferred.


Required Skills


  • 3 - 5 years relevant experience.
  • Customer Service Orientation, Result Orientation and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Grooming and Appearance and Ethics & integrity.
  • Advanced communication skills in English (Oral and Written) and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.
  • Relevant professional certification (Inventory and Material Management) is preferred.
