Storekeeper

We are a lighting & Furniture company, in the market for 18 years. We are committed to excellence in operations and seek a detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our team and ensure the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage our inventory, warehouse operations, and stock control. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate inventory records using [specific inventory management system]

- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and full inventory audits

- Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts or overstocking

- Implement proper inventory rotation procedures (FIFO/FEFO)

- Track inventory movement and update records in real-time

- Identify and investigate stock discrepancies

Warehouse Operations

- Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders

- Inspect received goods for quality and damage

- Properly store and organize materials in designated areas

- Pick and prepare items for shipment or internal requests

- Maintain clean and organized warehouse conditions

- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all items

Documentation & Record Keeping

- Prepare and process receiving reports and issue slips

- Generate inventory reports and stock status summaries

- Maintain filing systems for all warehouse documentation

- Ensure compliance with record-keeping regulations

Safety & Security

- Enforce safety protocols and warehouse safety standards

- Conduct regular safety inspections and hazard assessments

- Implement security measures to prevent theft and loss

Coordination & Communication

- Coordinate with purchasing department on stock replenishment needs

- Communicate with other departments on inventory availability

- Handle inquiries about stock status and availability

Qualifications & Requirements

Required

- High school diploma or equivalent

- [2] years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping

- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software

- Ability to lift up to [20] Kilos and stand for extended periods

Preferred

- [Specific inventory management system] experience

- Kuwaiti driver's license

- Experience with [UDOO] inventory

- Basic knowledge of supply chain management
