Storekeeper — Hotel (F&B and Non-F&B)
Role purpose
- Control receiving, storage, and issuance of all hotel goods (F&B, housekeeping, engineering) with full compliance to HACCP/brand standards and cost-control procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Receiving and inspection: verify quantities/quality vs PO; create GRN; handle discrepancies and returns.
- Storage compliance: segregate dry/chilled/frozen/chemicals; label, date, and track shelf life; enforce FIFO/FEFO; maintain temp logs and MSDS.
- Issuance: pick/issue against approved requisitions; batch/expiry tracking; maintain par levels and min–max.
- Inventory control: daily spot checks, weekly cycle counts, monthly full counts; investigate variances and spoilage.
- Documentation/systems: 3-way match (PO/GRN/invoice); timely postings in ERP/material control; maintain auditable records.
- Coordination: liaise with Purchasing, Cost Control, Culinary, Stewarding, and Engineering on demand forecasts and deliveries.
- Housekeeping and safety: maintain clean, pest-free, and organized stores; operate pallet jacks/forklifts safely; support internal/external audits.
