The Storekeeper (Issue Counter) will execute and manage the process flow associated with all requests for spares and tools on time, considering the given priority and the Aircraft schedules as per the approved rules and regulations, while providing high customer service. The role also ensures effective control and calibration traceability of tools, while monitoring consumables to ensure they are used within their valid shelf life.

During an AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situation, if the requested part is not available, assist the end user with recommending options such as the NHA (Next higher Assembly), the breakdown parts, or any other interchangeable part.

Updates the RUSADA system with all material transactions (issues, material returns, credits, etc) as they happen to ensure that system data is kept current.

Bins all spares sent in from the Receipts Section, as well as spares being credited back from the various workshops/lines, and hangar floors. Allocates appropriate bins for all new items (previously not stocked) and updates the RUSADA system accordingly.

Assists other sectional staff as and when required in handling different store functions during the periods when the regular staff are not available/on leave.

Responsible for the day-to-day transactions handled by the issue counter staff.

Ensures requests from the end users are handled in a timely, efficient manner, and every assistance is provided to minimize "Nil" stock situations.

Maintains proper records of all transactions handled by the Issue counter staff, and daily updates are carried out to ensure synergy between the physical stock and system stock balance.

Carries out periodic checks to ensure that expired spares are not retained on shelves, but, removed from their respective bins for necessary scrap procedure.

Ensures that all stock locations are maintained as per the guidelines issued by regulatory authorities and that proper housekeeping is carried out regularly.

Provides support to internal and external Audit and quality checks as required.

Complies with Company Environmental, Health and Safety Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Manuals, including applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Ideal candidate will have:

College-level education or a High School Diploma with basic academic qualifications in storekeeping or a related field.

Minimum of 3–5 years of industry experience in Storekeeping, Warehouse Management, or support services within:
1. An airline
2. A third-party maintenance base
3.A large Engineering/MRO organization
