A vacancy has become available for a Part145 Storekeeper in the Working-Party perimeter within the Customer Care Centre.
The open position will be part of the Major Repair and Working-Party department in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
The Storekeeper will be responsible for:

Receiving and Inspection:
-
Receiving incoming shipments tools, equipment (including GSE) and materials.

Inspecting deliveries for damage, quantity discrepancies and ensuring all required certification (e.g. airworthiness tags and Authorised Release Certificate / CoC and documentation are present and correct.

Processing receipts and inputting data accurately into inventory or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems / SAP AP1.

Storage and Organization:
-
Classifying, inventorying and storing tools, equipment, and material in designated locations according to Part 145 regulation and the company procedures.

Ensuring the orderly, clean, and safe maintenance of the store/warehouse area.
-
Handling and storing hazardous materials, flammable materials, and/or hazardous waste following strict protocols.

Issuing and Provisioning:
-
Processing requests (requisitions) from maintenance personnel for tools and materials.
-
Picking, packaging, and preparing items for issue or shipment.
-
Building "kits" of tools for specific aircraft maintenance tasks.

Inventory Control:
-
Maintaining accurate stock levels and inventory records (physical and system).
-
Conducting regular cycle counts and full physical inventories to reconcile discrepancies.
-
Monitoring inventory turnover and assisting with timely replenishment of goods.
-
Monitoring shelflife of materials and calibration for equipment.

Logistics and Operations:
-
Transporting tools and materials.
-
Operating a variety of material handling equipment (MHE) with manual and automatic transmissions.

Opening, packaging and sealing boxes and crates.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
-
Experience:
Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or related materials handling environment is often preferred. Prior experience with MRO / Airlines is a significant advantage.

Skills:
-
Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory tracking (e.g., ERP systems / SAP, etc…).

Basic ability to read, write and speak English

Basic ability to convert units of weights and measurements.
-
Excellent attention to detail
and a methodical approach to data entry and record keeping, which is critical due to the sensitive nature of aircraft parts.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to perform physical activities.
-
Ability to perform lifting, pushing and pulling.
-
Other:
-
Must possess a valid driver's license.
-
Must hold a forklift driving license.
-
Must be flexible and willing to work any shift in a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends and holidays.
