Storekeeper – Service Department(Elevator / EPC Experience Required)

Our MNC client is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper for a permanent position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for responsible for the maintenance of the warehouse which includes but not limited to, stocking of operational materials and supplies, inventory control and records, purchasing and related duties.

Applicants must be currently based in Qatar with a transferable visa.

  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Contract Type: Open-Ended Contract (6-Month Probation Period)
  • Salary: 4,000 – 5,500 (depending on experience) All- Inclusive
  • Driving Requirement: Valid driving license is mandatory
  • Company Car: Fully maintained company car provided
  • Working Schedule: 6 days per week
  • Working Hours: 9 hours per day (including break)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage and maintain warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of the warehouse which includes but not limited to, stocking of operational materials and supplies, inventory control and records, purchasing and related duties.

This role requires strong organizational skills, supply chain knowledge, and prior experience in an elevator company or EPC project environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Keep the store organized and clean at all times.
  • Receive, inspect, unload, and shelve supplies, spare parts, and materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
  • Coordinate the handling of freight, movement of equipment, and arrange necessary minor repairs.
  • Arrange proper storage, label materials accurately, and maintain/update the material and asset database.
  • Monitor and control spare parts inventory; initiate orders when minimum stock levels are reached and process spare parts requests in a timely manner.
  • Perform, document, and maintain tool and equipment inspections, maintenance, testing, and certification.
  • Arrange calibration of measuring instruments and testing of lifting equipment.
  • Maintain proper records and control of calibration and lifting equipment testing certificates.
  • Report shortages, discrepancies, and damaged materials to the Purchasing Department and Line Manager.
  • Release spare parts only after ensuring all required documentation is complete.
  • Dispose of obsolete items and scrap materials and recommend appropriate maintenance plans.
  • Maintain all relevant documentation and conduct regular inventory control measures.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE policies and procedures, IMS standards, corporate policies, and compliance with local legal regulations.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Line Manager, including but not limited to the above duties.

Required Qualifications

A. Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Administration or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience, including at least 2 years in an elevator company or EPC project.
  • Previous warehouse experience is required.
  • Experience in document handling and maintaining proper records.

B. Knowledge & Skills

  • Familiarity with relevant contracts and compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, purchasing, and logistics standards.
  • Experience working with SAP or other relevant industry software.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as a stacker.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles.
  • Good computer knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Speaks English; knowledge of additional languages is an added advantage.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Valid driving license is required.

C. Computer Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
