Job description:

Job Purpose

Oversee all stores operations like receiving, inspection, put away, issuance, picking goods, perpetual counting & system posting.

Key Accountability Areas

Warehouse Operation:

  • Responsible in receiving, put-away, storing, issuing & transferring of goods physically, and system postings.
  • Maintain goods receipt register and safe keeping of sample/free of cost items.
  • Update bin locations in system & for FG items to update/maintain master file.
  • Perform perpetual stock counting & submit monthly report to superior.
  • Maintain FIFO policy, proper preservation of items based on its nature to avoid damages, leakages, and pilferages.

Customary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the QC personnel in incoming materials quality inspection tasks.
  • Pick the goods against issuance or OBD & handover to the concerns.
  • Verify loaded scrap & non-returnable gate pass creation.
  • Preserve rejected goods, intimate and follow-up with Purchase Department for further actions.
  • Monitor and ensure effective utilization of material handling equipment.

Management Systems:

  • Ensure implementation of management systems.
  • Adhere to quality, safety, environmental and other company policies.

  • Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
