STP ENGINEER

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP/STP/Plumbing Engineer to oversee the operations, and troubleshooting of Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) systems, and other related mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, fluency in Arabic, and a valid UAE driving license.

1. Oversee the end-to-end operations and maintenance of STP and SWRO systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with operational standards.

2. Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions for all MEP systems, including plumbing, pumps, valves, and electrical equipment.

3. Monitor system performance metrics, including flow rates, water quality, and pressure levels, and take immediate action on any deviations.

4. Manage and maintain backup systems, spare parts inventory, and ensure timely replacements of critical components.

5. Develop and implement a maintenance schedule for all assets, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resource allocation.

6. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including breakdowns in STP and SWRO systems.

7. Coordinate with technical teams and vendors for repairs, upgrades, or replacement of faulty equipment.

8. Ensure adherence to local regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental guidelines for all operations.

9. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and incident reports.

10. Prepare and submit periodic performance and maintenance reports to management.

12. Supervise and provide guidance to a team of technicians and operators.

13. Train staff on operational procedures, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.

14. Liaise with clients, vendors, and government authorities to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations and troubleshooting of STP and SWRO systems.

Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic (mandatory); English proficiency is preferred.

Driving License: Valid UAE driving license (mandatory).

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including pumps, valves, and pipelines.

Expertise in STP and SWRO operations, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting techniques.

Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Familiarity with automation systems, SCADA, and PLCs is an advantage.
