STRATEGIC COMMODITY MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL (Orlando, FL)

Snapshot of Your Day:

We are looking for a Strategic Commodity Management Professional in Orlando, FL to utilize knowledge of digital products and services, procurement strategies and exchange tools, Parse System, Parse 360, Ariba, PCS Tool, Puma Web, ProSign Easy, ServConEasy and WebBFS asset management systems in order to ensure the sustainability of the digital products and services portfolio.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Support commodity management of the portfolio across service organizations.
  • Analyze, spend and implement proactive supplier strategies across all SE service organizations.
  • Assess current contractual terms, identify needs of key internal stakeholders, utilize understanding of industry/market drivers and conduct a gap analysis to define strategic priorities.
  • Define innovative procurement strategies focused on medium- and long-term goals, including levers to optimize CNI/CTG and drive faster time to market, supplier quality and cost competitiveness.
  • Develop, negotiate and monitor key digital product or portfolio-related agreements, and provide active supplier management, as well as drive the development of new or alternative supplier sources.
  • Act as strategic commodity interface to divisions and corporate units for the assigned topics.
  • Maintain knowledge platform and facilitate knowledge sharing between categories and commodities.
  • Responsible for the regional and industry market to drive exchange and maintain best practices inside the regional procurement community and offer strategic guidance for digital commodity fields of responsibility.
  • Understand the scope of supply and customer contract agreements specific to digital products.
  • Perform risk analysis and prepare for negotiations with suppliers.
  • Identify supply chain risks and monitor supply chain during project execution to avoid potential issues/risks.
  • 5% international and 5% domestic travel required.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience.
  • Experience must include 3 years with: commodity management;
  • Procurement strategies and advanced negotiations;
  • Understanding of industry/market drivers;
  • Exchange tools, Parse System, Parse 360, Ariba, PCS Tool, Puma Web, ProSign Easy, ServConEasy and WebBFS asset management systems;
  • Contract management; and
  • Knowledge of the levers to optimize Contribution to Ney Income and Contribution to Growth (CNI/CTG).
  • 5% international/5% domestic travel required.
