Job Purpose / Role:
Areas Of Responsibility:
Strategic:

Contribute to the development of an enterprise-wide strategy and ensures translation of strategy into a cohesive set of initiatives that can be executed by the bank

Accountable for the management of the bank business plan and alignment with ePMO

Monitors the progress of the aspiration targets to ensure achievement of the strategy target
Strategy Management:
-
Accountable for the management and improvement of the strategy delivery lifecycle including the pre-project business case process that leads to project approval

Enforce continuous improvements of bank strategy
-
Accountable for the update to the transformation and strategy steering committee
Monitoring and Controlling:
-
Oversee Riyad bank targets and strategic initiatives progress

Provide management support and guidance to initiative owners and portfolio heads to ensure proper execution

Provide markets insights and researches on banking industry
-
Act as a custodian of the bank overall strategy

Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedure, timely and cost-effective execution of all initiatives

Ensure that the lessons learned are stored and improvements made from these into the methodologies
Reporting:

Provides timely and accurate bank-wide Steering Committee reports to meet the bank and department requirements, policies and standards
People Management:
-
Ensures all staff have clear objectives, regular performance feedback sessions, formal annual appraisals, and individual development plans, with particular emphasis on the development of talented Saudi national staff

Ensures and facilitates the employment, training and development of Saudi nationals within the organization
Safety, Quality & Environment:

Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude

Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor degree in Management, Strategy or Finance
Minimum Experience:
-
8-10 years of experience in strategy
Language:
English: Advanced
