Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Strategy & Transformation Director to lead enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and drive large-scale transformation programs. This role is responsible for shaping long-term strategy, improving organizational performance, and ensuring successful execution of complex business transformations.
The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking with hands-on delivery experience, and is capable of influencing senior stakeholders while driving measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development & Execution
- Lead the development of corporate and business unit strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, initiatives, and KPIs
- Conduct market, competitor, and internal performance analysis to inform decision-making
Transformation Leadership
- Design and lead end-to-end transformation programs (digital, operational, organizational)
- Establish transformation governance, PMO structures, and performance tracking
- Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and achieve targeted outcomes
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with C-level executives and business leaders to align on priorities
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on strategic and transformation matters
- Lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
Performance & Value Realization
- Define and track value creation metrics (cost savings, revenue growth, efficiency gains)
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Change Management
- Lead organizational change efforts to ensure adoption of new processes and ways of working
- Develop communication and engagement strategies to support transformation initiatives
Requirements
Experience
- 10–15+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, or transformation roles
- Proven track record leading large-scale transformation programs
- Experience in top-tier consulting firms (e.g., McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company) or equivalent industry roles is highly preferred
Skills
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities

- Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills
- Financial acumen and ability to build business cases
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred

- Industry expertise (e.g., government, energy, financial services, or telecom)
- Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: QAR365.00 - QAR550.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
