Strategy & Transformation Director

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategy & Transformation Director to lead enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and drive large-scale transformation programs. This role is responsible for shaping long-term strategy, improving organizational performance, and ensuring successful execution of complex business transformations.

The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking with hands-on delivery experience, and is capable of influencing senior stakeholders while driving measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development & Execution

  • Lead the development of corporate and business unit strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, initiatives, and KPIs
  • Conduct market, competitor, and internal performance analysis to inform decision-making

Transformation Leadership

  • Design and lead end-to-end transformation programs (digital, operational, organizational)
  • Establish transformation governance, PMO structures, and performance tracking
  • Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and achieve targeted outcomes

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with C-level executives and business leaders to align on priorities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on strategic and transformation matters
  • Lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority

Performance & Value Realization

  • Define and track value creation metrics (cost savings, revenue growth, efficiency gains)
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Change Management

  • Lead organizational change efforts to ensure adoption of new processes and ways of working
  • Develop communication and engagement strategies to support transformation initiatives

Requirements

Experience

  • 10–15+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, or transformation roles
  • Proven track record leading large-scale transformation programs
  • Experience in top-tier consulting firms (e.g., McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company) or equivalent industry roles is highly preferred

Skills

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent program management and execution skills
  • Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Financial acumen and ability to build business cases
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in digital transformation, operating model design, or performance improvement
  • Industry expertise (e.g., government, energy, financial services, or telecom)
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR365.00 - QAR550.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
