Al-Qadsiah's vision is to develop champions and elevate performance across Olympic and emerging sports, creating a pathway for athletes from the Futures level through to Olympic success. The club's goal is to qualify eight athletes for the LA 2028 Olympic Games and become a leading multi-sport performance hub within the Kingdom.

The Role

As part of Al-Qadsiah's Olympic Performance Programme, the Strength & Conditioning Coach (Futures Programme Practitioner) will play a key role in developing the physical readiness, resilience and athletic excellence of emerging athletes.

Working closely with the Performance Lead (S&C), head coaches and the wider sports science and medical teams, you will design, deliver and evaluate tailored, evidence-based S&C programmes aligned with sport-specific demands and long-term performance goals.

You will also contribute to the club's Fit/Not Fit assessment model and ensure that strength and conditioning is fully integrated within the wider performance environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver progressive and individualised S&C programmes for Futures athletes
  • Conduct needs analyses and use data to inform evidence-based training plans
  • Lead S&C support for a designated sport within the Futures Programme
  • Work collaboratively with coaches, sports science and medical staff to optimise athlete development
  • Monitor and report athlete progress using the club's Athlete Management System
  • Contribute to the wider multisport programme, including testing and performance monitoring
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Sport Science, Strength & Conditioning or a related field (postgraduate preferred)
  • Accredited by a recognised governing body such as UKSCA, NSCA or ASCA
  • Proven experience providing S&C support to performance athletes, ideally including combat sports
  • Strong applied knowledge of strength training, conditioning and athlete monitoring
  • Experience working within a high-performance, multidisciplinary environment
