Structural Design Engineer - Data Center

Review, assessment, commentary and technical approval of the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) and documentation from the CSA design consultants for allocated projects throughout the design stages.

• Maintain record of CSA design consultant(s) submittals.
• Control in a timely manner the CSA submittals/correspondence received.
• Where requested, coordinate with CSA design consultant team to ensure implementation of remedial action.
• Perform technical evaluation of selected consultants and contractors in terms of performance, quality of information received and technical compliance
• Work with the Procurement team on the budgets for new and existing Data Center projects
• Attend design review workshops with consultants and contractors
• Check all CSA design related project documentation against the concept to ensure it is accurate and is in accordance with the design intent
• Support the construction team with respect to mechanical design and construction management of project costs in line with approved business case.
• It is seen as an advantage if the applicant has dedicated hands-on experience with both Structural and Civil design as the role will be responsible for both.
