Structural Draftsman

Purpose of the Job

Responsible for drafting all structural design projects drawings assigned. Review and collaborate with other disciplines’ draftsmen to deliver well-coordinated drawings.

Main opportunities/challenges for this Job

• Drafting of structural design of multistory building
• Review and coordinate with other disciplines drawings to have coordinated drawings

Main Accountabilities

• Prepare structural drawings from architectural drawingsMark girds and preliminary layout plans from architectural drawings
• Understanding of typical details for construction and preparation of related details if required
• Basic understanding of lap locations, joints, reinforcement etc.
• Coordinate structural drawings with different discipline drawings such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.

Education

DAE Civil

Experience Required

• At least 7-10 years of experience
• Expertise in RCC Highrise structures
• Worked at reputable structural engineering firms or consultants
• Above Average understanding of reinforcement marking in REVIT.
