Structural Draftsman

As a Structural Draftsman, you will work closely with structural engineers, project managers, and site teams to prepare and revise structural shop drawings in line with approved designs and specifications.

key responsibilities:

• Preparing detailed structural shop drawings based on IFC drawings and design specifications.
• Coordinating structural drawings with architectural and MEP disciplines to avoid clashes.
• Preparing bar bending schedules (BBS) and reinforcement detailing.
• Incorporating consultant comments and revising drawings accordingly.
• Supporting the submission process for approvals and responding to technical queries.
• Assisting site teams with drawing clarifications and updates as required.
• Maintaining organized documentation of all drawings and revisions.

• A Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience within contracting environment in the UAE.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit Structure is an advantage).
• Solid understanding of structural detailing and reinforcement drawings.
• Good coordination skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple drawing packages.
