Estimator – Metal Solar PV Mounting Structures

About the Role

We are seeking an Estimator with minimum 2 years’ experience in cost estimation and structural load calculation for metal solar PV mounting structures to support our fabrication and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare total project cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for metal solar PV mounting structures.

· Perform structural load calculations and verify design integrity in line with applicable standards.

· Conduct site visits, surveys, and site measurements; coordinate with engineering and fabrication teams.

· Develop and maintain a database of qualified vendors/manufacturers/suppliers; obtain competitive quotations.

· Produce metal works design and shop drawings.

· Prepare MIS reports and present cost/variance analyses; achieve assigned targets and deadlines.

Qualifications, Experience & Abilities

· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering with a strong technical background.

· Minimum 2 years in cost estimation and structural load calculation for metal solar PV mounting structures.

· Strong analytical and financial analysis skills; attention to detail.

· Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, AutoCAD (2D), SolidWorks/3D modeling, SAP2000, and SketchUp.

· Excellent communication skills; self-motivated, organized, dynamic, and accountable.

· Must be registered with the Ministry of Labour of Bahrain.

· Must be fluent in English.
