Key Responsibilities
- Estimate material quantities, labor requirements, project costs, and timeframes with precision to support tendering and project execution.
- Prepare and review tender documents, contract agreements, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) in accordance with project scope and industry standards.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and feasibility studies to ensure competitive and accurate bids.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, ensuring compliance with budgetary and technical requirements.
- Develop cost plans, budgets, and cash flow forecasts, and monitor expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare variations, claims, and interim payment applications in coordination with project teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and planning teams to align estimation with project execution strategies.
- Ensure all tendering and contract activities are in line with FIDIC standards, company policies, and local regulations.
- Maintain organized documentation including cost records, quotations, contracts, and project correspondences.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in estimation, tendering, or cost management (GCC experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of both Civil and MEP works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CostX, Planswift, Bluebeam, and MS Excel.
- Familiarity with standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Valid GCC driving license preferred.
