Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Structural Engineer with strong experience in both design and site supervision to join our consultant firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for structural design review, site supervision, and inspection of villa projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, codes, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and approve structural designs, calculations, and drawings for villa and infrastructure projects.
• Supervise structural works on site, including foundations, substructures, superstructures, and associated infrastructure elements.
• Ensure construction complies with approved structural drawings, specifications, and relevant design codes.
• Review material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and inspection requests (IRs).
• Conduct site inspections, issue site instructions, and close non-conformities.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Review and approve structural test results and third-party inspection reports.
• Participate in technical meetings and provide engineering solutions to site issues.
• Support authority submissions and approvals when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer certification or registration is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of UAE experience as a Structural Engineer.
• Proven experience in both structural design and site supervision.
• Experience in villa and infrastructure projects is mandatory.
• Consultant firm experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of international and local design codes and standards.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong structural analysis and design skills.
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, or similar).
• Ability to interpret and review construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication, coordination, and reporting abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and site activities.
