**Position Type:** Long-Term
Elevate Workforce is currently seeking experienced **Structural Welder/Fitters** for a long-term position
in Irvington, Alabama. This position requires individuals who are skilled in **both structural fitting and structural welding**. Applicants must be able to read drawings, fit structural steel components accurately, and complete high-quality welds to specification
- Fit and assemble structural steel using blueprints and shop drawings.
- Perform structural welding using approved welding processes.
- Measure, lay out, tack, and weld structural components.
- Operate hand tools, grinders, torches, and other fabrication equipment.
- Inspect work for accuracy and quality.
- Follow all company and job site safety requirements.
Qualifications:
* Experience as both a **Structural Fitter and Structural Welder** is required.
- Ability to read and interpret structural blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and fitting procedures.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
