  • Later, you return to this spot and take your stills.
  • In the afternoon, you design motion graphics for a new video feature and also design the credits page to make it pop.
  • Review a draft video that one of the videographers has been working on, and give feedback.
  • A bit later, you attend an AI event (such as a class being taught) where you snap photos of the speaker and the audience, remembering to post the photography disclaimer by the door the hour before.
  • Prioritize feedback from AI and other humans, based on alignment with stated vision, project goals, and deadlines, and team capabilities.
  • Update the project tracking tool throughout the day so everyone knows where the pieces of the project are at any given time.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Take pictures for and create graphic designs for articles and videos that tell AI stories (they found a problem in an organization, they solved it with AI, they observed a measurable impact) that can be used to by the AAII to build courses, can be used by faculty to teach courses, and can be shared by students and staff (inside and outside of UVU) to help get work done more effectively.
  • Partner with faculty and students to gather and produce story ideas.
  • Collaborate with team members, giving feedback and consistently lifting the quality of deliverables.
  • Incorporate feedback from team members, stakeholders, mentors, and the Senior Director
  • Generate compelling, interesting, and valuable visuals that teach “everyone can use AI” and “here’s how you can do this with AI” (with occasional deep tech AI applications).
  • Analyze, document, and present findings and lessons learned, and take follow-up action.
  • Always ask: How can I better align with the strategy? How can I improve the results?
  • Other diverse tasks and projects as assigned.
