Subcontract Procurement Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Subcontract Procurement Specialist / Subcontract Coordinator to manage all procurement activities related to subcontractors, not material suppliers. This role is crucial for ensuring the selection, contracting, and performance monitoring of subcontractors across various trades within our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and prequalify subcontractors for different construction disciplines.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to subcontractors.
• Collect, compare, and evaluate technical and commercial proposals.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and scope of work with subcontractors.
• Draft, review, and finalize subcontract agreements in coordination with legal and project teams.
• Ensure timely onboarding and mobilization of subcontractors on-site.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain and update a reliable database of approved subcontractors.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and the Contracts Department.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or subcontract management within the construction industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and terms.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple subcontract packages simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.

Pay: From AED8,000.00 per month
