The Richmond Campus of Bryant & Stratton College is accepting applications for a full-time Subject Area Coordinator for our Liberal Arts program.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the hiring, scheduling, development and evaluation of subject area professors.
  • Assists in coaching, training, and providing information to subject area professors.
  • Monitors course materials to ensure course outcomes are met and rigor is upheld.
  • Ensures all documentation, reporting, and instructional activities follow all standards, competencies, policies, and guidelines as set forth by Bryant & Stratton College.
  • Develops, implements, and assesses strategies and techniques for improved student outcomes.
  • Teaches 0 to 9 contact hours.
  • Serves on College committees as needed and participates in campus events.
  • Models lifelong learning and ensures program quality through continuous professional development and maintenance of a professional teaching portfolio.
  • Provides and facilitates skills assistance, tutoring, and workshops related to Liberal Arts, including Liberal Art Boot Camps.
  • Assists in developing course blueprints and business connects.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Dean.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Must possess a master’s degree in related field.
  • Professional experience with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellence in classroom instruction.
  • Strong leadership and exceptional written and oral communications skills as well as competence in developing others, maintaining confidentiality, managing detail, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to forge supportive partnerships within and between departments.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development, student success, and campus culture and values.
