Substation Engineer

Looking for an experienced substation Electrical Engineer with over 15-20 years dedicated to the successful delivery of electrical substation projects and shall hold the OETC approval.

A substation Electrical Engineer shall have the experience managing projects, including design review, procurement, and installation phase. He shall maintain, and improves electrical substation, ensuring reliability and safety through tasks like substation design review, equipment specification, site assessments, testing and commissioning, troubleshooting, and compliance with regulations. This role also involves project coordination, technical support, and implementing system upgrades, utilizing engineering software and adhering to safety protocols.

Review designs and schematics for electrical substations and equipment, using technical drawing software and conducting feasibility studies. select, specify, and oversee the installation of substation equipment, including circuit breakers, transformers, and switches. Manage the testing and commissioning process for new and upgraded substation systems and equipment. Ensure that all designs, materials, and activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards. Work with project managers, contractors, and utility companies to facilitate project success and system improvements.

Substation Electrical Engineer position is substation site based and as per specific project requirement.
