Summer Camp Counselor

Summer Camp Counselor (with Optional School-Year Hours)
Kids & Co. Childcare Center – Turner, ME

Position Overview:
We are looking for energetic, reliable, and engaging individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Counselors. This position is full-time during the summer, with the opportunity to continue working part-time during the school year if desired.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, being creative, and working closely with school-age children in a fun, structured environment.

Summer Schedule (Required):

• Monday – Friday
• 40 hours per week

School Year Schedule (Optional):

• Monday – Friday
• 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
• Additional hours available on early release days, school vacations, and snow days

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children ages 5–12
• Lead and participate in games, activities, and field trips
• Help create a fun, safe, and structured environment
• Encourage positive behavior and inclusion among all children
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, and clean-up
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
