Summer Camp Instructor

Duties

• Plan, organize, and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, sportsmanship, and social skills.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive discipline techniques to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
• Supervise children during all camp activities, including outdoor games, arts and crafts, theater performances, and sports coaching.
• Provide first aid when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of all campers at all times.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and any concerns that arise during camp sessions.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, babysitting, or camp environments is highly preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills combined with excellent behavior management techniques.
• Ability to engage children through creative teaching methods.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
• Passion for working with children and fostering their growth in a fun yet structured environment.
