Summer Camp Teacher / Facilitator

Best Brains Learning Center in Frederick is hiring Part-Time Summer Camp Teachers / Facilitators to support our 8-week educational summer camp program. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and creating engaging learning experiences.

Our summer camp offers a variety of educational and enrichment activities designed to build creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills in elementary and middle school students.

Camp Activities Include

• Public Speaking and Storytelling
• Science Experiments and STEAM activities
• Creative Writing and Story Development
• Coding and logic-based activities
• Financial literacy and money math games
• Entrepreneurship and introductory AI concepts
• Creative stations including Lego builds, chess, brain games, and arts & crafts

Responsibilities

• Facilitate educational and enrichment activities for small groups of students
• Encourage creativity, teamwork, and participation
• Maintain a safe, positive, and structured learning environment
• Support students with activities using provided materials and instructions
• Assist with classroom organization and supervision during camp sessions

No lesson planning is required. A complete Teacher Guide with step-by-step instructions and materials will be provided.

Qualifications

• Interest in working with children in an educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Energetic, responsible, and reliable
• Ability to manage small groups of students
• Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus but not required
