Summer Day Camp Counselor

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer camp experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. You will lead activities, Bible Lessons, provide guidance, and support campers in their personal growth while ensuring their well-being throughout the camp experience.

Work week is Monday-Friday, with weekends off.

Duties

• Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during all activities.
• Plan and lead engaging activities such as arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, and other fun camp activities.
• Lead Bible lessons and exhibit Christian character with other camp employees and campers.
• Collaborate with other counselors to create a cohesive camp experience.
• Administer first aid if necessary and respond to emergencies according to safety protocols. (CPR training is provided for all employees before camp begins for the summer.)

Experience
Ideal candidates will possess skills or experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Childhood development
• Babysitting
• Camp leadership or participation
• Childcare experience
• Classroom management

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
