Position: Supervising Attorney

Overview:
Seeking an experienced Supervising Attorney to lead a legal team serving financial institutions (mortgage lenders, servicers, banks, investors). The role combines legal expertise with operational leadership to ensure compliance and manage foreclosure and related litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise attorneys, managers, and paralegals.
• Ensure compliance with FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and investor requirements.
• Oversee foreclosure and civil litigation, case strategy, and risk management.
• Manage departmental P&L, policies, and performance goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Bankruptcy, Litigation, Title, REO, HR, Accounting, IT).
• Attend mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Support business development, marketing, and client engagement.
• Represent the department through presentations, articles, and trade associations.

Qualifications:

• JD from accredited law school; licensed in Alabama (GA/TN preferred).
• 8+ years of litigation experience (foreclosure, bankruptcy, title, evictions, REO).
• Proven leadership and P&L management experience.
• Expertise in mortgage litigation and compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
