Supervisor - Facility

Job Purpose

Responsible for overseeing and executing the daily maintenance operations of the warehouse premises, offices, and related facilities, with a strong focus on HVAC systems. Ensures that preventive and corrective maintenance activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and on time to support seamless business operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise maintenance personnel according to forecasted workloads.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs (including HVAC equipment) are planned, scheduled, and completed.
• Monitor technicians’ adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Provide hands-on support and ensure completion of tasks in a safe and timely manner.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance and facility projects.
• Oversee procurement of required materials, spare parts, and tools for maintenance and stock replenishment.
• Troubleshoot and provide effective solutions for daily maintenance issues and emergency breakdowns.
• Act as the communication link between the Warehouse Manager and the maintenance team.
• Ensure work schedules and outputs meet departmental KPIs and service-level requirements.
• Perform other facility-related tasks as assigned.

Key Competencies & Skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems installation, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Hands-on problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Vendor and contractor management experience.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management software (CMMS preferred).
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to HSE practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or related technical discipline.
• Certifications (preferred): HVAC Certification, OSHA / NEBOSH / equivalent HSE training.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in facility maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven hands-on experience in HVAC systems operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Experience in managing teams in a warehouse, industrial, or large commercial facility environment.
