Supervisor - PET Flakes & Bottle Assessment

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the inspection, sorting, and grading of PET bottles and flakes received from collection and washing units.
• Monitor and control the flake quality parameters such as color, contamination level, size, and moisture content.
• Conduct bottle assessment to identify PVC, HDPE, PP, and other contaminants before processing.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and food-grade RPET production guidelines.
• Maintain daily production and quality logs for traceability and reporting to RPET management.
• Coordinate with Washing Line, SSP, and Quality Control teams to ensure smooth flow of material.
• Supervise line operators and sorters to achieve consistent throughput and minimize rejections.
• Conduct random sampling and testing (e.g., IV, color, contamination) in coordination with QA Lab.
• Identify non-conforming material and ensure proper segregation and disposal.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance flake purity, recovery yield, and process efficiency.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and compliance in the sorting and assessment areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

• DAE / B. Tech (Polymer, Mechanical, or Chemical)
• 5-6 years in PET recycling, RPET, or bottle-to-bottle plant operations.
