Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Client: Global leader in Technology/ Electronics

Duration: 12 months with HIGH chance for extension or become permanent

Work Location: Mooresville, NC 28115 (M-Th onsite & Fridays Remote)

Pay rate: $30-34/hr W2 + Benefits


Top Skills

  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Excel (VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables)
  • Order Management experience
  • SAP or ERP experience is strongly desired
  • Home Appliance, Home Improvement, or Retailer experience is strongly desired


Overview

This is a key position managing local supply chain operations for one of our key strategic Home Appliance customers focusing on improving synergies in core areas including: Order Management, Inventory Management, Item Setup process, Special Order Management, ETA shipment reporting, and Returns Processing. This position is following established processes for order management, logistics and delivery. This position will interact/communicate with other areas of the business including Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Production Planning at times.


Job Responsibilities

  • The supply chain analyst communicates with Lowes warehouses and order management team. Follows processes and protocol to achieve customer objectives related: weekly orders for stock items and special orders.
  • Coordinate actions with Operations, Sales and Logistics teams for Direct Ship/Import programs to manage and develop the necessary tools/reporting/KPIs
  • Drive actions to achieve company objectives for customer service levels especially on time delivery and fill rates
  • Proactively identifies and challenges activities that will detract from planned objectives
  • Run reports in SAP and the customers portal in order to analyze their orders and other data
  • Manages product life cycle as it relates to managing the final inventory of the old model and help manage forecast and orders for a new models launch date.


Skills/Education

  • Prior order management experience desired
  • Familiarity with SAP or another ERP system
  • Experience in manufacturing /logistics/ supply chain environment.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience working with a large retailer is a plus, especially Lowes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Common sense, strong organizational skills
  • Set realistic work goals and priorities
  • Developing efficient processes and improving support activities
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5-10 years related experience required.
