Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Supply Chain Interns to support our procurement and

supplier development activities. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to the end-to-end

supply chain process in a manufacturing services environment, including supplier scouting, cost

analysis, audits, negotiations, and performance reviews.

The role is designed to give interns a strong foundation in supply chain operations, cost engineering

practices, and supplier relationship management, while working closely with experienced

professionals.

Key Responsibilities

 Assist in scouting and evaluating new suppliers for components and services.

 Support the team in collecting quotations, preparing comparative statements, and

conducting basic cost analysis.

 Gain exposure to Zero-Based Costing, Should Costing, and Activity-Based Costing techniques

through real project work.

 Participate in supplier audits and onboarding processes under the guidance of senior

engineers.

 Help maintain supplier databases, documentation, and performance scorecards.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, production) for procurement

and development activities.

 Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.

 Learn and contribute to initiatives in supplier performance monitoring and continuous

improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

 Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering, or Supply

Chain / Operations Management.

 Final year students or fresh graduates preferred.

Knowledge & Skills (preferred but not mandatory):

 Basic understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.

 Familiarity with manufacturing operations, BOMs, and engineering drawings (advantageous).

 Strong analytical and numerical ability; interest in cost analysis / costing methods.

 Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and basic ERP tools (if exposed).

 Good communication and interpersonal skills.

 Eagerness to learn, detail orientation, and problem-solving mindset.

Duration & Stipend

 Internship Duration: 3–6 months
