Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist

Our business partner which operates in nutritional supplement sector is looking for a Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus

• Min. 3 years of relevant experience

• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics operations, inventory management, and supplier relationship management

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and supply chain planning tools(TMS,VMS)

• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management abilities and organizational skills with attention to detail

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience in global supply networks and managing cross-border logistics

• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals

• Forecast demand and plan supply to optimize inventory levels and service delivery

• Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

• Coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, and third-party logistics providers to ensure on-time deliveries and supply chain efficiency

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and planning teams to forecast demand accurately and plan inventory replenishments

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, shipping, customs, and delivery

• Negotiate and manage contracts with logistics providers and freight forwarders

• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and local laws

• Monitor delivery KPIs to improve reliability and reduce costs

• Manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers and optimize shipping and storage solutions to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely and high-quality product deliveries

• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and ensure compliance with agreed-upon delivery schedules, quality standards, and costs

• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure continuous improvement and resolve any issues regarding quality, delivery, or cost

• Manage inventory accuracy and ensure optimal stock levels to meet demand

• Supervise warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage, handling, and dispatching

• Implement lean practices and continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse processes

• Lead, train, and develop a team of supply chain and logistics professionals

• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, production, procurement, and finance teams

• Lead projects related to ERP/supply chain software upgrades or implementations

• Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement

• Prepare regular reports on KPIs, including cost, delivery performance, lead times, and inventory turnover to senior management and other stakeholders

• Propose and implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience

• Monitor potential risks across the supply network, including disruptions in supply, logistics delays, or inventory shortages, and develop contingency plans
