Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented SCM- Sales Coordinator to manage open sales orders, coordinate with internal teams and customers, and ensure timely order fulfillment. This role serves as a key liaison between sales, supply planning, production, warehouse, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

Open Sales Order Management

  • Monitor and manage open sales orders to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery
  • Track backlog and aging orders to identify potential delays or fulfillment risks
  • Coordinate with supply planning, production, and warehouse teams to prioritize order fulfillment
  • Provide proactive updates to sales teams and customers regarding order status, shipment schedules, or delays
  • Resolve issues impacting open orders, including inventory shortages, allocation constraints, or logistics delays
  • Maintain accurate order status and expected delivery dates in ERP systems

Customer Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer order inquiries
  • Provide order confirmations, shipment updates, and delivery timelines
  • Communicate order changes, delays, or backorders in a timely manner

Supply Chain Coordination

  • Collaborate with supply planning, production, and warehouse teams to ensure order fulfillment
  • Coordinate with logistics providers to arrange shipments and track deliveries
  • Manage order prioritization based on customer requirements and supply constraints

Issue Resolution

  • Identify and resolve order discrepancies, shipping delays, or inventory shortages
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams when necessary
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate order records and documentation
  • Generate reports related to order status, fulfillment performance, and customer service levels
  • Monitor key metrics such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and backlog

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain coordination
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Technical knowledge of purchasing categories preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in ERP systems
