Job Summary:
KDD is seeking a skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager To lead supply chain and procurement function within KDD in line with corporate strategy and approved business plans.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1- Administrative Supply Chain Activities:

Plan, communicate job expectations, and set goals with team members.

Monitor team activities and performance; resolve work-related issues effectively.

Support, motivate, and evaluate team members; ensure departmental objectives are met.

Share information and encourage team accountability.
2- Timely Procurement:
-
Generate and follow up purchase orders; ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.

Manage procurement for Plant Maintenance, Production, Project, Plastic Factory, Building Maintenance, Garage, Refrigeration, LAB, QC, QA, Marketing, Sales, HR, Finance & General Admin.

Procure staff uniforms, general items, and services.

Coordinate with suppliers and end-user departments; maintain supplier relationships.

Ensure smooth supply to production plants; explore cost-saving opportunities and market analysis.

Evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing (including OEM suppliers), and prioritize urgent orders.
-
Manage weekly pending PR reports, price inquiries, quotation follow-ups, and payment term negotiations.
3- New Supplier Management:
-
Prepare supplier creation requests (SCRF) for management approval.
4- Purchase Order Execution & Shipping:
-
Approve and send purchase orders; follow up on shipments via sea, air, and courier services.

Obtain freight quotations, evaluate rates, and arrange cost-effective shipping solutions.

Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders for consolidation and direct shipments.
5- Documentation & Consignment Delivery:
-
Guide suppliers on customs documentation per Kuwait law.

Review draft documents before shipment; monitor consignment deliveries to stores.
6- Payment Process:

Approve supplier invoices and forward to Finance; follow up on outstanding payments.
7- Monthly Inventory & Claims:
-
Track pending POs; handle claims for wrong delivery, short receipt, or damaged units.

Report and follow up on claims until resolved by goods receipt or credit note.
8- PO Workflow Approval:
-
Obtain management approval for POs above 250 KWD for all departments.

Verify PO details, quotations, price comparisons, and documentation.
9- DHL & TNT Payments:
-
Approve and reconcile freight and customs invoices; instruct Finance for payment; follow up on payments.
10- Annual Service Contract Renewal:
-
Renew service contracts for office equipment; arrange repairs and maintenance as needed.
11- Pending PR & PO Closing:
-
Prepare pending PR & PO reports and forward for quarterly, half-yearly, or annual closing.
12- Reporting & HR Management:
-
Monitor, evaluate, and report to Executive Manager – Supply Chain & Logistics.

Plan manpower effectively, manage leaves, maintain qualified replacements, and conduct competency-based evaluations.

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.

Perform any duty assigned by the Executive Manager.
Required Education:
-
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar fields.

APICS CSCP, Six Sigma, Lean, or other relevant supply chain certifications
Required Professional Skills:

Fluency in English and Arabic (Bilingual)

Minimum of 10 years of experience in F&B supply chain within Kuwait.

Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Consistent, disciplined, and effective communication skills.
-
Ability to identify priorities, plan schedules, and complete tasks efficiently and on time (highly focused and results-oriented).

Proficient in MS Office, Oracle, and Maximo.
