Supply Chain Manager

Position: Supply Chain Manager

Department: Supply Chain / Operations
Reports To: Operations Manager / General Manager

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the end-to-end supply chain activities including procurement, inventory control, logistics, warehousing, and distribution. The role ensures cost-effective operations, timely delivery, and optimal inventory levels while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals
  • Plan and manage procurement, sourcing, and vendor relationships
  • Oversee inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce wastage
  • Coordinate logistics, transportation, and distribution activities
  • Monitor demand forecasting and production planning
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers and service providers
  • Identify risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation plans
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare supply chain performance reports
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards
  • Lead, train, and supervise supply chain and warehouse teams
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in supply chain or logistics management
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations
  • Experience with ERP systems and supply chain software
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
