Supply Chain Manager

Job Purpose: The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain operations of Synergies Casting Oman, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. The role ensures timely availability of raw materials, cost optimization, supplier performance, and seamless coordination with production and quality teams to support operational efficiency and business objectives.



Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with production requirements, cost targets, and business objectives.
  • Oversee sourcing and procurement of raw materials, consumables, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Optimize inventory levels to meet production needs while minimizing holding costs and reducing waste.
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including transport, warehousing, and material handling, to ensure timely delivery and efficient operations.
  • Evaluate, select, and monitor suppliers to ensure high-quality materials, timely deliveries, and strong business partnerships.
  • Monitor supply chain costs, implement cost-saving initiatives, and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, regulatory requirements, and company policies; manage supply chain risks proactively.
  • Work closely with production, quality, finance, and sales teams to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with operational and business objectives.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement, inventory, and logistics; prepare regular reports for management review.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, technology adoption, and best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
  • Advanced certifications such as APICS/CPIM, CSCP, or CIPS are an advantage.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement, preferably in manufacturing or automotive industries.
  • At least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing supply chain operations.
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, inventory optimization, supplier management, and cross-functional coordination.
