Supply Chain Officer

Job Title: Supply Chain Officer

Department: Supply Chain / Operations
Location: Karachi
Reports to: Business Head

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, production coordination, inventory control, warehouse management, and order fulfillment to ensure timely product availability for retail and e-commerce channels.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Coordination

  • Source and purchase fabrics, trims, packaging, and accessories as per production requirements
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, mills, and suppliers.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality and timely delivery.

Production Planning & Follow-ups

  • Coordinate with design, merchandising, and production teams to plan order quantities.
  • Track production timelines from sampling to bulk production.
  • Ensure timely availability of raw materials for production runs.
  • Follow up with factories and vendors to avoid delays.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

  • Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/Excel.
  • Conduct periodic stock counts and reconciliation.
  • Prevent overstocking and stock-outs.

Order Fulfillment & Logistics

  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for order processing.
  • Ensure timely dispatch of e-commerce and retail orders.
  • Manage courier/logistics partners and shipment tracking.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and reverse logistics.

Data & Reporting

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly supply chain reports.
  • Track KPIs such as lead time, stock turnover, order fulfillment rate.
  • Analyze demand trends and assist in forecasting.

Process Improvement

  • Identify supply chain gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Work to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs.

RequirementsEducation

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Textile Management, or relevant field.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or inventory role.
  • Experience in fashion, textile, or e-commerce industry preferred.

Skills Required

  • Strong Excel and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems / ERP.
  • Understanding of textile production and sourcing cycle.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset.
