Supply Chain Officer (Logistics-Focused)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Officer – Logistics to manage and optimize logistics and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation, import processes, warehouse movements, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

Experience

1–2 years of relevant experience in logistics, import/export, freight management, or distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation planning, shipment tracking, and delivery coordination.

Handle import-related processes including documentation, regulatory compliance, customs clearance, and coordination with clearing agents and freight forwarders.

Coordinate with transporters, shipping lines, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.

Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve logistics bottlenecks or delays.

Ensure compliance with import/export laws, customs regulations, and local logistics standards.

Manage warehouse dispatch planning and ensure accurate and timely deliveries.

Track logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery (OTD), freight cost control, and lead time optimization.

Collaborate closely with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to align material availability with operational requirements.

Maintain accurate logistics documentation and reporting.

Identify opportunities to optimize transportation costs and improve logistics efficiency.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Sound understanding of freight management (air, sea, and land transportation).

Familiarity with logistics software, ERP systems, and shipment tracking tools.

Strong coordination and negotiation skills with transporters and logistics vendors.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
