Surface And Ground Water Engineer

The Surface and Ground Water Engineer will coordinate all the works related to its scope of works.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Understanding of the gravity networks (surface ground water) and its operability. Ensure the operational KPIs are achieve monthly.
• Plans, supervises, and reviews the work of staff operating and performing inspection and assessment duties for Surface and Ground Water. This includes assessment of repairs.
• Plan all the required preventive maintenance activities within the network. Follow up its monthly completion as per the defined SLAs
• Ensure to meet economic objectives, is responsible for his budget and monitors expenditures.
• Plans, assigns, supervises, reviews, and evaluates the work of assigned staff, provides required resources for work and assistance to staff in resolving problems.
• Evaluates work methods and operations
• Coordinates and controls daily and monthly reports, on work performed and equipment utilization.
• Coordinates work with the planning team and other services, and supervises responds to questions and complaints from the public, responds to emergency situations.
• Holds regular meetings with staff to communicate expectations, receives feedback, provides motivation and employee recognition.
• Ensures safe work methods are followed and appropriate safety precautions and equipment are utilized and conducts safety meetings.

Experience:

• +10 (ten) years relevant experience
• In-depth background in gravity networks (surface groundwater), KPIs, and network maintenance

Education:

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent

Others:

• UPDA-registered / or to obtain this year 2024 (For engineering degree holder)
• Note: As per Qatar Law all engineer professionals must be registered to Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) by taking and passing the UPDA exam.
