Surveyor

Working Location: Abu Dhabi

Position Summary:
A Surveyor is responsible for making precise measurements to determine property boundaries and provide data relevant to the shape, contour, gravitation, location, elevation, or dimension of land or land features. The data collected is used for construction, engineering, and land development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct land and boundary surveys using tools such as GPS, theodolites, total stations, and 3D laser scanners.
• Interpret and analyze survey data to determine property lines and prepare reports, maps, and plots.
• Establish legal property boundaries for deeds, leases, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction managers on project planning and design.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations.
• Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, legal standards, and regulations.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and other technology for mapping and analysis.
• Provide survey support throughout the construction phase, including stakeout and as-built surveys.
• Maintain survey equipment and ensure it is calibrated and functional.

Qualifications: Education:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field.

Licensure:

• Preferred: Licensed Surveyor (e.g., Professional Land Surveyor – PLS) depending on jurisdiction.

Experience:

• 1-2 years of field experience.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in survey instruments (GPS, total stations, levels, etc.).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar CAD software.
• Strong math, geometry, and trigonometry skills.
• Knowledge of GIS software (optional, but often desirable).

Soft Skills:

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina for fieldwork in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
